2010 Daffodil Days in the Venango-Forest Unit of the American Cancer Society will be Monday, March 15 through Sunday, March 21. The most popular product is the bunch of 10 large cut daffodils available for a donation of $10. This year’s campaign features the 2010 Boyds Bear, Birthdays R. Hope, which comes with a bunch of flowers for $25. The 2010 limited edition Daffodil Days Vase is painted with the ACS logo and several daffodils. It comes with a bunch of flowers for $15. For the second year the local unit will sell a 4-inch pot of live mini daffodils priced at $12. February 22 is the deadline for presale orders. During the week of Daffodil Days there will also be eighteen direct sale sites throughout both counties where flowers can be bought on the spot including seven in Franklin, Oil City, and Cranberry on Thursday and Friday, March 18 and 19. On Friday, March 19, Emlenton, Clintonville, and Tionesta will have their own direct sale sites. Cooperstown will have flowers starting on Tuesday, March 16.
